2026 General Election

We want every voter to be able to exercise their right to vote.

Prior to the election, we’re asking all voters to take the following steps:

  • Check your registration — now and monthly thereafter. Text 59798 to get started!

  • Make a plan to vote early October 22-29, then put a reminder on your calendar.

  • Sign up to be an election judge or poll watcher. Save 866-OUR-VOTE to your phone to report issues at the polls.

  • Spread the word! Tell your families and friends, inform your neighbors. Visit linktr.ee/wewillvote for ideas.

We believe that every voter should be informed.

That’s why earlier this year, we created a voter guide questionnaire with questions we have heard from many voters across the county. The guide was sent to every candidate (Democrats & Republicans) registered in the races we felt were most critical — MD-06 Congressional, MD House of Delegates, MD State Senator, Frederick County Board of Education, Frederick County Council, and Frederick County Sheriff. Responses received are published in the voter guides below.

2026 Indivisible Frederick Forward Voter Guides

Links to Indivisible Frederick Forward’s voter guides can be found at the bottom of this page. The voter guides showcase responses that were submitted by candidates. Candidates who did not respond to the voter guide questionnaire will not appear in the published voter guides.

Maryland early voting is between October 22nd-29th 7:00am-8:00pm (including Saturday and Sunday). General election day is November 3rd 7:00am-8:00pm. Polling locations and more information can be found at vote411.org. General election information can be found at the Maryland State Board of Elections site.

Additional Voter Resources

Ten organizations collaborated on a Minority Voters' Guide for county, state and federal candidates. The guide is posted at minorityvotersguidefrederick.org.

Other participants were Asbury United Methodist Church, Frederick Democratic Socialists of America, the Islamic Society of Frederick, The Democracy Action Team of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick, Frederick Housing Solutions Task Force, RISE Coalition of Western Maryland, Montgomery Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines, and Maryland CAIR.

All recorded League of Women Voters candidate forums can be found on their YouTube channel: tinyurl.com/FredCoLWVYT (case-sensitive) and community specific voter guide at vote411.org.
