Join us every Monday evening (check each date for start time) at the I-270 Overpass at New Design Road as part of the Frederick Resistance Brigade—our standing act of defiance against authoritarianism and extremism. Inspired by the Visibility Brigade movement (https://www.visibilitybrigade.com/), we gather with bold, high-visibility signs to make our voices seen as well as heard.

We show up to remind our community that democracy only works when people stand up for it. With each action, we send a clear, collective message: We refuse to be silent. We refuse to normalize corruption, cruelty, and attacks on our freedoms.

Participants are welcome to bring their own signs and messages. Some ideas include “No Kings” and “Signs of Solidarity”—but these are just examples, not limits. Any message that uplifts democracy, justice, and resistance is welcome.

Whether you’re a seasoned activist or new to taking action, your presence matters. Bring your energy, your creativity, and your courage—we’ll bring the collaborative spirit of resistance.
